gnoll's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- neighbours it just came to me. our current apppartment layout was drastically different and from a 50' birds eye view it was actually detached from the rest of the house and the surroundings were very similar to those at 708 montbeck cresent, lakeview. i went downstairs and ran into one of the new neighbours. she was my age or a just a bit older perhaps, i'm a poor judge of age. they were having a party later that evening and i asked if i could have a look at their place. i immediately felt pretty ripped off, they were paying marginally more than me and their place was huge and completely remodelled with beautifull hardwood floors, a loft concept with a large landing overlooking the living area, brand new industrial appliances and a massive third level deck off the back bedroom. funny though since their apppartment was a ground floor flat. she had two other roomates, another girl and a black guy who was big on weightlifting and spiritualism. i think he said he had some books for me to read. we all went out onto the deck for drink. once we got talking about the place i didnt fell so cheated, as it turned out they had invested a tonne of their own money to get the place into the decadent state it was in. a waste of money i think. 10:52:02 - 2000-03-14 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
