gnoll's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- four eyes i chose seattle over sanfrancisco to start shooting my video. i was really just there to pick up stock stuff. standing on a patch of grass by a busy highway exit. on the opposite corner of an intersection were a couple of kids with squeegees. they invited me back to their place which was really just a room in a boarding house. they just sat there not saying much. he sat on the bed leaning against the wall and she sat cross legged on the floor across from him. they were sharing a large joint but couldnt hold it so i had to keep putting up to each of their mouthes so they could take drags off of it. whenever i'd let go it would fall from their lips and into their laps where it would burn small holes in their sweatpants. on the other side of the small room were some bunkbeds. hanging from it's little suspenders on a hook was a small infant. it wore a yellow sleeper, but for some reason also wore these miniature suspenders, which i could only surmise were on him for the sole purpose of dangling him from a hook fixed into the underside of the top bunk. it was small, premature im almost sure, it couldnt have weighed more than 5 pounds. i lifted the baby off of the hook and held it by it's shoulders in front of me. the head was oblong and too my surprise had a second set of eyes in it's forehead. they were narrow and slanted on angles that converged toward it's nose. it used these eyes more than it's primary set and it glared at me, like it was sizing me up. then it smiled, ha, i nearly dropped the thing, it's gums were red with infection and had widely spaced pointed teeth. i was essentially holding a small demon in my hands, and im assuming it came out of the girl who sat blankly on the floor a couple of feet over, the rest of the joint now burning through her sweatpants and singeing the hairs on her legs. 12:05 p.m. - 2001-05-11 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
