gnoll's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- gun i have to start eating something before bed. when i was apppart of some mili... oh wait, i still had the keys to the townhouse on burnhamthorpe and helen, my ex-stepmother, still lives there. on a few occasions i would go there and make use of the facilities when nobody was home, ya know make food, wash up, etc. This last time though i heard someone coming in the front door while i was still in the shower. it was going to take some weird story to justify my presence that's for sure. but when i came downstairs hew reaction was fairly mild, she wasn't terribly surprised it seemed, as though she had expected it sooner or later. the later, when i was apppart of some small non-government military party in melee with another group (possibly the military themselves) i thught it would be a good tactic to go back around tho the other side of the building and catch the nest of gun-men off guard, i also figured it would be a little safer there too, the compound was small a really just a patchwork of scrap wood and sheet metal. When i got around to the other side i had a clean line right into the nest so i loaded my gun and took aim at the three visible men. I hit the first man repeatedly in the chest and couldn't seem to re-direct my aim towards the other two. At that point i became less interested in what i was shooting at and more into the action of the gun itself, it was so smooth and light, it was like i was holding a toy rather than something that shot out bullets the length of my index finger.
